The First Free City Tour Singapore
This blog is created purely to inform everyone about this NEW initiative. We are providing FREE City Tour of Singapore to all travelers, tourists, families alike. What better way to know about this little red dot from people who have lived their lives here! This initiative is managed by a group of volunteers who are keen to share their love of Singapore with you.
Starting on 27th May 2011, there will be two timings everyday, at 12:15pm and at 3:45pm. The meeting place will be the open area outside the Macdonalds located in Raffles City (City Hall MRT Station). Our volunteers will be wearing a RED T-Shirt. (We are in the process of printing T-Shirts for our volunteers for easy identification)
The walking tour will take around 1 hour and will take you through the various sights such as St Andrew's Cathedral, Esplanade, Merlion Park, Boat Quay, Parliament House, Armenian Church, Peranakan Museum and Chijmes. We will also provide information on many other sights and great places to try local food within the city area!
